Melissa Rivers is replacing her late mother Joan Rivers. The show is starting on August 31.

Fashion Police is returning to E! with a new lineup of panelists.

The upcoming series will feature Melissa Rivers as a new co-host, replacing her mother Joan Rivers who died in September 2014 one week after undergoing a minor throat surgery. Rivers will be joined by Giuliana Rancic, who is among the original panelists and is making a comeback to the show and celebrity fashion stylist Brad Goreski who was named co-host of Fashion Police in 2014.

Jeff Olde, the executive VP of programming and development on E Network spoke of the new series and the inclusion of Melissa Rivers, who is also an executive producer of the show. “As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape ‘Fashion Police’ into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy. We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the ‘Fashion Police’ cameras, as she joints returning panelists Giuliana and Brad. And with the added flavor of rotating panelists, the show will deliver fresh, different and unpredictable fashion reviews with each new episode.”

Fashion Police was in a state of hiatus since March 2015 after the departure of Kathy Griffin who was brought in the vacant position of late Joan Rivers but left the show after completing just seven episodes. She told the reason via tweet. “I thought I could bring my brand of humor to Fashion Police so the beautiful people in beautiful dresses could be teased when appropriate...After seven episodes of Fashion Police, I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show and now it’s time to move on.”

Earlier this year, Kelly Osborne, one of the original fashion commentators, exited the show after fellow host Giuliana made a harsh and controversial comment about the hairstyle of Zendaya Coleman at a red carpet event. The departure of two co-hosts put a question mark on the future of the show. But now Fashion Police is returning to make more comments on celebrity fashion.

According to Variety, the new series will run for six episodes and will premiere on August 31.
