Caitlyn Jenner is thankful for Laverne Cox supportive comments about her coming out as transgender and she says that Laverne’s comments means the world to her.
Caitlyn coming out was one thing to be accepted by the world but it means the world if she is not accepted by the community she has become a part of. No one actually asked the transgender community whether they accept Caitlyn or not. There were no comments about it all from the transgender community as of yet.

That is until the very much loved and accepted transgender of the age, Laverne Cox. One of the main roles in Orange is the New Black, Laverne was the first transgender to feature on the show and she was not only accepted but loved by the entire fandom. Laverne’s performance was appreciated so much that she was nominated for a Golden Globe this year.
She took the time to make a statement on her Tumblr page about Caitlyn’s cover on Vogue saying that she looked beautiful and it was daring of her to come out. She has been very brave to face her family and the world.
Laverne added that it was tough for the transgender community worldwide no matter their nationality, color, creed, race or sexual orientation. She said that it was tough for them to actually come out as the person they truly were. In those times, Caitlyn coming out is inspiring for all of them.
Caitlyn is thankful for the words Laverne has said for her and said that it meant a lot to her coming from Laverne. She tweeted this Wednesday to thank Laverne, "@LaverneCox, you are fierce and fabulous! Your support means the world.
Thank you for all that you do for the community. #TransIsBeautiful," The two have faced the world with their decision to come out and hence their support for each other will be truly inspiring for the entire transgender community as well.
