Their new baby will be Kody's 18th child with one of his many wives, and the new addition will be Robyn's fifth. "We are so happy to announce an eagerly expected new member of the Brown family!" they told Us in a statement.
Kody, 46, and Robyn, 36, are part of the polygamist family that has caused a lot of controversy within the last few years. The other sister wives include Meri, Christine, and Janelle, their children with Brown and from previous relationships. The family's kids range in age from 4 to 19.
This news is coming soon after the family learned that they would actually be losing a member, Meri, as she is choosing to divorce her husband. It was revealed that Kody then legally married the youngest of his wives, Robyn, and they had a child.
"We have chosen to live in a plural family for many reasons, above all we have a testimony that this is what God wants us to do, and that it will make us better people," Brown wrote for a blog. "We value family above all else."
