The 5th and last film in the ‘Paranormal’ franchise was announced today and will answer all the mysteries from the previous four films.
The latest installment ‘Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension’ will be released on the 23rd of October this year. ‘Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension’ will be the last film in the franchise and will conclude the series which consists of four previous installments. The franchise started with ‘Paranormal Activity’ in 2009 and has since then dominated the Halloween horror marathon at the box-office.

The producer Jason Blum recently announced the 5th installment will be the final and the series is coming to an end. Blum related the news before the movie hits theaters, so the horror franchise can mark its end as a cultural phenomenon of the present generation in a wholly fantastic way.
The most important aspect of ‘Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension’ is the fact finally all the demonic mysteries which started from the first 2009 film will be answered. All the four movies Paranormal Activity 2 (2010), Paranormal Activity 3 (2011), Paranormal Activity 4 (2012) and offshoot Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014) in the series yet feature the demon Toby and hauntings due to his presence.
According to Blum they couldn’t keep on teasing the fans forever and they will answer all the questions such as what does Toby look like and the backstory of the family will finally be answered. Blum shared even though they have kept people curious about Toby, he will finally be shown.
‘Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension’ will feature a new family of Fleeges, a Father Ryan played by Chris J. Murray and a mother Emily played by Brit Shaw, who have a young daughter Leila played by Ivy George.
