Kit Harrington who played the role of Jon Snow in the acclaimed TV series Game of Thrones will join the cast of film ‘Brimstones’.
Actor Kit Harrington famous for having portrayed the part of Jon Snow on the TV series Game of thrones has officially joined the cast of film ‘Brimstones’. The principal photography for the film ‘Brimstones’ recently started.

The remainder of the film will be shot in locations such as Romania, Spain and Germany. The main cast also includes Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce and Carice van Houten. Other cast members include Paul Anderson, Jack Roth and Carla Juri.
Dakota Fanning will portray the character of Liz, a heroine on the run due to her past and will be chased by the character of Pearce. The movie has been described as the story of one woman’s vivid and powerful resistance in the face of defiance.
The film will be produced by Els Vandevorst and Uwe Schott from the Holland’s N279 Entertainment and X-Filme respectively. Other co-producers include Antonino Lombardo from Belgium’s Prime Time, Peter Hiltunen from Dragon Films in Sweden and Manuel Chiche & Violaine Barbaroux from the Joker films in France.
As of yet it has not be revealed what exactly will be the character of Harrington or what is the name of his character. Harrington recently played a main role in the epic and critically acclaimed drama series Game of Thrones as Jon Snow, which was a fan favourite and he received positive review for his portrayal from fans and critics alike.
However Harrington’s character was brutally murdered in the fifth season finale, which left fans shocked. Since then Harrington has shared he will not be returning to the series and therefore will focus on his movie career.
