The first tease came when Feig posted the picture of the Ghostbusters uniform that is ready for the cast of the new movie. The fans would be glad to see that Feig has kept true to the original rugged greyish uniforms. They have orange reflector strips on their cuffs and thighs. The suits are accompanied by big boots and sunglasses.
These uniforms will add extra mettle to the ladies. The cast will feature Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig; the actresses having collaborated together in Bridesmaids and Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon from Saturday Night Live.
Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig will feature as co-authors on a book about supernatural that comes to haunt them later as Wiig’s character heads to teach at Columbia University. The band joins together to fight off the ghost invasion of New York.
Feig admitted that this remake of Ghostbusters will be hugely inspired by The Walking Dead. He said that he loves the show tackling with the dead’s scariness and haunting nature and that would be a huge factor in this version which will hit the theatres around July, 2016.
