After countless rumors, leaks and guesses about Samsung’s upcoming maestro cell phone, finally comes the, much awaited news. Yes! Samsung Galaxy A8, much buzzed about phone, is official and it is also finally listed on the China’s website of Samsung. The cell phone is declared as the thinnest cell phone up to date; also it is one of the slimmest Smartphone ever manufactured by Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy A8 is somewhat similar to S6 in its curvature and frame, but the glass back has been replaced by the metal frame which is the signature look of the “A” series. The handset has a profile of only 5.9mm and has a support of a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. There is a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, with one group of Cortex-A53 centers working at 1.0 GHz and another ticking at 1.5 GHz. RAM is 2GB, installed memory can be either 16GB or 32GB and there is additionally a microSD card opening. The unit is powered by a 3,050 mAh battery and Samsung promises 304 hours of standby time.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy offers 4G LTE support, double band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS with Glonass and Beidou support, and also NFC. The camera setup comprises of a 16MP primary shooter and has a pixel size of 1.0 µm to save space. Samsung Galaxy A8 also has a fingerprint reader. Although much has not been reveled officially regarding the colors, but White, Gold andBlack colors are expected to be the most possible options.
