The network FOX has apparently found a way to make the supernatural and science themed shows co-exist, while Nikki Reed will be joining the cast of ‘Sleepy Hollow’.
According to reports the FOX shows ‘Bones’ and ‘Sleepy Hollow’ will be crossing over in the upcoming 2016 spring TV season. The cross over event will consist of two episodes on each of the shows.

Further details of the story and characters to be featured in the cross over are still not known. The idea could prove to be the best or the worst idea ever on both he shows and even though it makes no sense as to how the show’s storylines will cross over, fans are still equally excited by the new development.
The cross-over was initially planned to take place in the fall of 2015 and the producers originally had an idea for the cross over but due to logistics issue it has been delayed until 2016. ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and ‘Bones’ will return for their next season on FOX from Thursday the 1st of October.

Additionally the ‘Twilight’ actress Nikki Reed has been cast as a series regular on the show ‘Sleepy Hollow’. Nikki Reed will play the character of Betsy Ross in season 3 and was mentioned as Ichabod Crane’s former flame in the previous 2 seasons.

Len Wiseman the Co-creator of Sleepy Hollow announced they are very excited about welcoming Nikki Reed into the world of Sleepy Hollow and called her the perfect actress for the iconic role of Betsy Ross.
