OnePlus 2 leaked by Chinese FCC

The new OnePlus 2 smartphone got leaked by TENAA, the Chinese equivalent to the FCC.

Chinese smartphone startup OnePlus just got played by the Chinese FCC. The company planned to unveil the new OnePlus 2 smartphone on July 27 in a virtual reality media event.

The TENAA has leaked the front, back and sides of the new OnePlus 2 on their site already. Via Engadget.

OnePlus 2 has revealed already some of the highlights of the powerful OnePlus 2 ahead of the event.

The OnePlus 2 will have 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. With LPDDR4, users will see faster loading times, smoother gameplay, and never-before-seen energy saving features. LPDDR4 has twice the bandwidth performance as the LPDDR3 at the same power consumption profile.

The 4GB RAM will be used by the 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor powering the OnePlus 2. The Snapdragon 810 v2.1 has 8 cores supporting streaming 4K Ultra HD video, crisp and fast photos with one quick snap. The OnePlus 2 supports immersive 3D gaming with the Adreno 430 GPU.

OnePlus revealed that the OnePlus 2 has an advanced fingerprint sensor. OnePlus says it is going to be faster than Apple's TouchID.

The new OnePlus 2 smartphone will be priced under $450 said OnePlus CEO Pete Lau.

OnePlus will reveal the OnePlus 2 in an online virtual reality video event on July 27. OnePlus has sold out of their cardboard VR goggles last week.
