All we know about the Moto X 2015 so far
Moto X (2015) can be claimed as the most “gossiped” phone so far. The series which started with the first generation Moto X in 2013 has gained enough popularity. This shouldn't come as a shock. The first generation Moto X had certain distinctive features like creative interaction components, different customization alternatives, and sans bloatware free client experience; which made the first generation Moto X quite successful. The official pictures of the Moto X (2015) are yet not revealed. But from what we have already seen through leaks by Peru Android, we know that there are multiple customization options for the next Moto X.
The first model which surfaced on the internet was a wood grain back cover, and the other model was allegedly built out of a carbon fiber or a patterned plastic back. Here we should not also forget that the customization option has always been the priority of Moto X series.
This time again it comes with the Moto Maker option; the customization variants includes 17 hues, and 4 wood grains back covers, 5 leather varieties and additionally a choice of 10 accent colors.
Moto X is expected to release in two different sizes. One having a 5.2-inch display, which will be smaller while the larger with a 5.7-inch screen, this phone will belong to the phablet category; it is expected to be named as Moto X Plus.
The new Moto X will also have a USB type C connector. It will be irreversible and you can plug in whatever way you want. Also, the metal strip around the 5.7 inch Moto X (phablet) is rumored to have some relation with the virtual reality headset akin to Google's Cardboard.
Another important feature is that the New Moto X will be having front speakers too, although the output stereo sound isn’t yet clear but it is expected to be the part of phone. The report from BGR suggest that the resolution would be of 1440 by 2560 pixels (QHD) for both displays. It is also expected that both the variants will feature an AMOLED display.
The Moto X (2015) is supposed to be somewhat similar to the previous models with the stock look and mainstream android operating system. It is expected to run on Android 5.1.
There is no bloatware and excessive visual effects, but there will be on-voice commands and Moto Display warnings framework enlarging the close vanilla Android experience. Moreover, the Moto X (2015) is anticipated to come along with the Motorola applications like Motorola Wear.
MEMORY AND PROCESSOR:
The new Snapdragon 810 processor is rumored to power both the phones. The Moto X will have an internal capacity of 32 GB. Also, the external memory card slot won’t be present, according to rumors, as it was absent in both the previous models.
As far as the RAM is concerned, the new Moto X can get up to 4GB of RAM. However different rumors suggest that there will be only 3GB RAM.
Not much has been revealed about the battery options for both phones.
But according to widespread rumors there will be 3280mAh battery. However this is not specified whether it will be for the phablet or the usual Moto X phone. But it can be guessed that the larger one will have the larger battery and vice versa. Also both the phones can be expected to have the QuickCharge 2.0 capabilities.
A tweet by Motorola CMO Adrienne Hayes suggested that the camera on the next Moto is going to "bring it”. It means that the previous Moto X phones had disappointingly bad camera, so the tweet suggest that this time Motorola is going to rectify its mistake. Rumor has it that Moto X will feature a 16MP "Clear Pixel" camera while the flash with two LEDs of the dual tone is also expected to be present .
PRICING AND RELEASE DATE:
As far as the price details are concerned, obviously, there is no official announcement yet. But from the high end features it is not hard to guess that heavy amount is going to slip out from the hands of those who are anticipating to buy Moto X (2015).
The last year’s model was launched on $100 on two year contract so this time the price should be around the same digits. However, the 5.7-inch one can cost more. Moreover, the releases date; if compared to that of previous two phones; can be somewhere between August and September.

Motorola is hosting an event on 28th July. Therefore, it is expected that it will be revealing both Moto G ad Moto X on same date.
