New Apple TV with App Store Announcement at iPhone Event in September

Apple is rumored to unveil the new Apple TV at the iPhone 6S event in September

The Apple TV was already rumored for a WWDC 2015 release, but that did not happen.

It is quite certain that a new Apple TV is coming this year. Even Apple hints to a new Apple TV.

Now a new report says to get ready for the new Apple TV in September.

Buzzfeed's John Paczkowski reports that the new Apple TV will be unveiled  at the iPhone 6S event in September.

The new Apple TV is a long awaited update. The current Apple TV dates back to 2012.

Apple is making the Apple TV a full iOS device including App Store and Siri.

The 2015 Apple TV has more storage to support app downloads.

BuzzFeed adds that the new Apple TV control has a touch pad.

Apple positions the Apple TV as the central hub for the house. Besides media consumption it will support home automation via HomeKit.

The big feature missing will be the rumored TV subscription service. Apple reportedly wants to make TV deals that include local programming.

Apple just can't get the deals done in time for the Holidays.

Usually Apple is giving developers several months lead time before releasing a new device.

Apple does though for sure not want to miss the Holiday shopping season for the Apple TV. We expect that Apple launches the new Apple TV latest in early November.

The Apple September media event is expected to take place on September 9.
