Valerie Harper confirmed on her Facebook official page that her trip to hospital was because of strong medication and she was never in a coma.
Valerie Harper announced in 2013 that she was battling with terminal brain cancer. Since then, her fans have been very keen about her health. On Wednesday night, Valerie collapsed back stage after her performance in Nice Work If You Can Get It in Ogunquit, Maine.

She was rushed off to the hospital. The Ogunquit Playhouse's artistic director Branford T. Kenney confirmed her transfer. It was done as a precaution. The location of the hospital is unknown. Sources close to the family said that Valerie was in a coma. Valerie’s husband and manager, Tony Cacciotti did not comment.
Cristina Cacciotti, Valerie’s daughter, confirmed later that Valerie was recovering. Valerie took it upon herself to tell the truth. On Friday, she posted on her Facebook page that she was alright.

As anyone who has taken strong medication knows, it doesn’t always agree with you, even with me as this experience proves.

But I must confess that the highlight of this ordeal came when I was escorted by two handsome young men and a pilot, in a medivac helicopter, as the full moon lit the sky. Talk about movie magic!!!
