The Best Business Smartphones are Coming this Fall

2015 has still many new smartphones incoming. Several of them are great for business users. Below we highlight the smartphones you should plan for.

A couple years ago there was no question what the best business smartphone is. Almost everyone in business got a BlackBerry. Things have changed dramatically over the past years. Many of the flagship smartphones are also superb companions for business users.

There are many more new smartphone releases coming this fall. We identified the most interesting smartphone releases for business users. Preparing your purchase department early is never a bad idea.

The wildcard this falls is the release of the Microsoft Windows 10 smartphones. Windows 10 is Microsoft's chance to finally grab some smartphone marketshare. There are tons of businesses that are complete Windows shops. A Windows smartphone can make a lot of sense for business users. Seamless integration in the enterprise infrastructure and familiar user interface are a plus. The iPhone and the Android smartphones diversified business smartphones. 

Microsoft centric IT departments  did not have good arguments with Windows Mobile devices so far. 

The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are supposed to change this. The leaked specifications of the Lumia 950 include 5.2 inch WQHD (1,440x2,560px) OLED display in a matte white or black polycarbonate body.A Snapdragon 808, 64-bit Hexa-core CPU runs the phone with 3GB of RAM.

Microsoft bets for secure access on an infrared Iris scanner for Windows Hello. Other features include 20MP PureView rear camera, 5MP Wide-angle front camera, Qi wireless charging through a flip cover, USB Type-C, 32GB storage and microSD card slot.

The Lumia 950 XL has with a 5.7-inch WQHD screen, a Snapdragon 810 Octa-core CPU and integrated wireless charging.

Microsoft is expected to reveal the Lumia 950 and 950 XL in September or October.

Samsung will unveil two new smartphones on August 13 that will be part of best in class for business. The Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ combine high performance with style and large screen. The Galaxy Note 5 is ideal for mobile warriors that capture data on the go. Both smartphones are ideal to share content with their big screens with customers and partners.

The leaked specification of the new Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920) includes Exynos 7420 SoC (4x2.1GHz+4x1.5GHz) 8-core CPU, 5.66" display with 2560x1440px resolution, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S with the new iOS 9 offer more productivity features and faster performance. The iPhone 6S will be a desirable business smartphone.

The biggest new feature of the iPhone 6 is the Force Touch display known from the Apple Watch. The new screen allows for more input options that potentially increase productivity.

Most benefits for businesses will though come with iOS 9 with improved Siri and more powerful built-in apps.

BlackBerry will be releasing a new smartphone this fall dubbed Venice. This new BlackBerry Slider features a hardware keyboard that hides under the screen. The BlackBerry Slider might be offered as Android and BB OS version.

The BlackBerry Slider could be a great device for die-hard BlackBerry fans. The still got the keyboard when they need it. The design of the Slider is on first glance the same as other smartphones.
