Busta Rhymes got into a dispute with an employee at the Steel Bar and got charged for assault.
Renowned rapper Busta Rhymes has been arrested and charged with assault. The rapper got involved in a dispute and threw a protein drink at a worker at Chelsea gym on Wednesday night.

The 43 year old Brooklyn rapper chucked the cardboard Lean Body protein drink container while he was having a dispute with the employee at the Steel Gym. The rapper’s real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr.
The sad part is that the bottle somehow hit the worker in the back of the head. Luckily the employee was not seriously injured. Many witnesses were also present at the time which stated that these two have had a past too.
One bodybuilder at the gym stated that on Tuesday a front desk employee had entered in a dispute with Busta. This happened because the rapper tried to bring a cameraman into the gym.
Busta wanted the cameraman to record his workout session. Yet the gym employee refused to allow the cameraman in the gym, according to NYDailyNews.
After the incident on Tuesday Rhymes returned to the gym on Wednesday. Rhymes went to the desk to buy water and a chocolate flavored Lean Body drink. At the desk the gym employee confronted him and told Rhymes to leave.
According to Sean Aird, 23 a bodybuilder from Brooklyn stated that things got heated as Busta threw water on the gym employee. The employee too threw water back at him and Busta’s security had to interfere.
Another employee at the gym stated that there has been a past between the two. The rapper had been arrested at the spot. Busta was charged with second-degree assault. Aird stated that Busta had been provoked to do this and he has never before been physical with anything. The management of the gym has declined to make any statement.
Well Busta has been no stranger to the NYPD. Busta was arrested four times back in 2006. Once he got arrested for assaulting a fan, once for assaulting his driver and twice for incidents behind the wheel.

Busta posted an Instagram photo and thanked everyone who helped him in this dispute. His lawyer also stated that there is no need to worry and Busta will soon be fee from these charges.
