We have already seen OnePlus 2 torn before. But, it is a little different this time. The procedure started with the X-ray view of the phone.
The technicians cited the use of a single type of non-proprietary screw heads and the modularity of components.
Also there is a simple USB port assembly as a point of particular ease. However, the LCD and digitizer glass are fused together.
They need to be replaced as a single part, which means you have to look after that screen, or face an expensive replacement.
There is also a non-removable battery. The technicians also pointed to the .3 micron pixel size of the 13MP sensor.
The claim that it is the largest they have seen till yet. iFixit gave the OnePlus 2 a better reparability score than its predecessor had.
This time it received 7/10, rather than the 5/10 that used to be its score. The score would have been definitely higher.
The difference in the score is due to the fact that display/digitizer combo are fused together. OnePlus 2 is said to be 2016 flagship killer but in reality this is not the case.
