On Friday AT&T announced new data plans for the wireless services.

AT&T has proved time and again proved they want to become the biggest network service. After acquiring the right to DirecTV the network announced its plans as soon as possible.

In another bid to capitalize the market AT&T recently announced its data service packages. The package list includes some very heavy data options. The move by AT&T is sure to attract a lot of new customers. 

AT&T just revealed their new wireless data plans. The plans were revealed on their official website. The plans can be seen in the form f a table on the website. The new data heavy plans offer new plans for customers.

“There’s never been a better time to be an AT&T customer. Last week, we announced a new offer to bundle DIRECTV and AT&T wireless service. Monday, we announced an offer that gives $500 in credits for DIRECTV customers when they switch to AT&T wireless service,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility.

“Tomorrow, we roll out new plans for everyone, including a plan that gives 50% more data than on our most popular plan. And we’re not done yet.”  

According to AT&T they will be offering 15GB for the price of only 10GB. AT&T even declared the customers on the 15GB plan will be liable to unlimited talk time in Mexico and Canada.  

The new plans will activate from tomorrow. AT&T is also offering plans with 30GB, 40GB, and 50GB. For businesses the network is offering plans up to 200GB. 

The plans were announced by AT&T after Sprint announced free calls for Canada and Mexico. The announcements from both the companies came within the same week.

Sprint also announced free services for travellers. The travellers will also be using the Sprint services free of roaming charges. 

AT&T previously announced customers from DirecTV or AT&T U-verse will also receive perks. When customers from other networks using the DirecTV subscribe to AT&T they will get additional credit. $500 worth of credit in wireless services was applied by AT&T.   

Customers will also receive an additional $300 of credit for switching over. The switch over will be from another network.
