A new list of accessories for Apple’s desktop computers appeared on FCC. The listing included a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse.
The mouse is also known as the magic mouse. The keyboard has not been updated to the better version since 2011, while the mouse has not been refreshed since 2009.
The magic mouse is listed under the article number of BCGA1657 on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) site.
The records held against the item number with the FCC also incorporate a SAR Exclusion Report. Apart from this it also includes a PDF document which carries renders of the new Mouse and a cover letter requiring confidentiality.
The wireless keyboard is listed under the article number of BCGA1644. The latest offerings include only minor changes.
A noteworthy improvement is the internal Bluetooth configuration. It has been upgraded from Bluetooth 2.1 to Bluetooth 4.2 LE (Low Energy). Well! It perfectly falls in line with Apple’s power saving mantra.
Apart from this, another plus point is the significant improvement of battery life. The battery life accomplished by the Magic Mouse and keyboard on a solitary set of batteries wasn't a particularly major sore point.
So this new battery experience definitely gives more soothing client experience. Apple has chosen to include non-removable Li-ion batteries.
So, both the wireless devices will be shipped with a charging device. The devices are most likely headed to release this summer.
