We expect several announcements coming out of the IDF 2015 today.
Intel CEO Brian Krzanich will kick off the event at 9 a.m. PDT with a keynote focused on the evolution of technology and the increasing personalization of computing that is creating unprecedented opportunities for developers to drive new innovation with Intel technology.
Krzanich said earlier about the IDF 2015: "For nearly two decades, Intel has invited the most enterprising developers in technology to get a first glimpse of the innovations that power what Moore’s Law delivers next. As my colleagues and I prepared for this year’s program, we quickly agreed that there has never been a richer, more far-reaching and diverse set of opportunities for developers. It is easy to understand why.
Not only are we seeing the world of PCs, devices and servers evolve, we are witnessing the boundaries of computing itself expand. So to us it was natural that IDF 2015 should embrace everything from wearable technology and 3-D vision integrated into the next generation of robotics to IoT systems that are intelligent, invisible and invincibly secure."
With the theme “Developed by You,” IDF 2015 will include “Mega Sessions” focused on the hottest topics in the technology industry including:
Digital Security: A Day in the Life with Chris Young
Gaming: The “Game”-Changer with Kirk Skaugen and Doug Fisher
IoT and Big Data Insights: Data Has a Story to Tell with Diane Bryant and Doug Davis
5G: Innovation from Client to Cloud with Aicha Evans and Sandra Rivera
The Maker Movement: Making the Future…with You with Genevieve Bell
