Windows 10 Build 10525 released to Windows Insiders

Microsoft has just released the first build in the Windows 10 Insider program after the release of Windows 10.

The Windows 10 Insider program continues. Microsoft just announced the release of a new Windows 10 Insider build. Windows 10 Build 10525 is going to be released today to registered Insiders.

This is the begin for Microsoft to implement the delivery of Windows 10 as a service. New features will just be deployed as they become available and passed the quality control partly done by Windows 10 Insiders.

Windows 10 Build 10525 is the first new build since the release of Windows 10 contains improvements influenced by feedback from Insiders.

Microsoft got a lot of feedback on the default color for Start, Acton Center, Taskbar, and Title bars and that users wanted to be able to change to reflect your preferences. This feature is now available in build 10525. This is off by default, but users can turn it on by toggling this (Settings > Personalization > Colors).

Build 10525 also contains improvements to the Memory Manager. Microsoft warns about known issues with Build 10525. Mobile hotspot does for instance not work.

Microsoft is apparently open again for new Windows 10 Insider members. To sign-up Windows 10 users can opt in to the Windows Insider Program via Settings app > Update & Security > Advanced options under "Get Insider builds."
