The untitled drama film on the life of the late astrophysicist will be produced by his widow!
Warner Bros has confirmed a biopic on the life of Carl Sagan. Carl Sagan was a brilliant and famous astrophysicist. The film project untitled as of yet and will be a drama. The film is being produced by Lynda Obst and Ann Druyan. Ana Druyan was the widow of the late physicist Sagan.

The script for the film will be written by Zach Dean. Zach Dean previously wrote the fil ‘Deadfall’. The plot of the biopic is being kept under wraps by the studio. Lynda Obyst previously made a film in 1997 based on Sagan’s novel ‘Contact’.
The film ‘Contact’ starred Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey in lead roles. Last year Obyst also worked on the space epic film ‘Interstellar’. Obyst teamed up with Christopher Nolan and the Warner Bros studios for the project, according to Variety.
Carl Sagan passed away in 1996. Sagan’s widow Druyan married the physicist in 1981 and they remained married until his death. Druyan previously wrote and produced ‘Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey’ in 2014. Druyan won an Emmy award for the project and had also worked as an executive producer on the film ‘Contect’.
Sagan was famous for his research in finding life on other planets and wrote more than 600 papers on it. Sagan hosted the show TV series “Cosmos: A Personal Voyage,” during the 1980’s.

He often wrote messages on space craft’s so extra-terrestrial intelligence may find them. Sagan also coined the term ‘Billion and Billions’ to express the vastness of the universe. Sagan’s most famous books include “The Dragons of Eden,” “Broca’s Brain” and “Pale Blue Dot.”
