The 19 year old will face charges for permitting minors to possess alcohol. Other charges include against Georgia are procuring alcohol for minors. The party took place over the previous weekend on Saturday.
Around 1 am on Saturday police was called. The caller confirmed there was underage drinking taking place at the party on Connick residence. When the police arrived party members tried to escape through the woods. The news was released by the Law enforcement agencies to NBC news.
After a survey police discovered there were empty beer cans everywhere on the property. Harry Connick Jr. and wife Jill Goodacre were not present at home during the party, according to NBC.
According to the police, Georgia told them she had planned a small gathering. But more people showed up and the party got out of her hand. 15 party goers were questioned between the age of 18 and 20. Georgia will appear in court on the 2nd of September.
On Tuesday the Harry Connick Jr. finally broke his silence on the matter. The American idol judge Harry Connick Jr. stated the matter is private and they are dealing with it as a family. The singer/ actor then thanked fans for understanding. The American Idol judge stated that he has no further comments.
