Huawei Nexus 6 Video based on leaked CAD Data

Google's 2015 Nexus 6 is made by Huawei and it generates a lot of excitement. Now a video shows the new Nexus 6 from all sides.

Google will release two new Nexus phones this fall. The Nexus 5 will come from LG and the Nexus 6 from Huawei. The Chinese hardware maker is on a roll in the smartphone market in the past months. Their new smartphone sell like hot cakes. According to Gartner, Huawei smartphone sales grew 46.3 percent compared to a year ago.

The excitement for the Huawei Nexus 6 is mounting as more information leaks. The Huawei Nexus 6 will have a metal body, measuring 159.4x78.3x6.6/8.5mm. The screen in the new Nexus 6 is likely 5.7" in size. Other leaked features include front facing speakers, fingerprint sensor on the back and a USB Type-C.

Now designer Jermaine Smit has released a video rendering the Nexus 6 (2015) from all angles. Steve Hammerstoffer (OnLeaks) tweets that the video is based on the actual 3D CAD data coming straight from the factory. OnLeaks supplied the CAD data to Smit to create the rendering.

The Huawei Nexus 6 looks very sleek in the video. The back side shows the finger print sensor int he middle. I especially like how Huawei's designers solved the camera area. It is slightly thicker, but it looks very elegant. This new Nexus 6 is set to be a huge sales hit for Google, if priced right.

Google is expected to announce the new Nexus phones in September or October.
