Just a few months ago he tarnished the family name with a molestation scandal, and now he is involved in the Ashley Madison fallout.
Just a few months ago, we were talking about Josh Duggar because he single handedly caused his family's television show, 19 Kids and Counting, to be cancelled because of a molestation scandal. Over the course of a few months, it came out that Josh molested a few of his younger sisters and his parents covered it up. At the time, he said that going away for the summer to do manual labor had "cured" him of his desires to lead a life in the shadows.

It seems he may have had a relapse. Or several.
After the Ashley Madison data dump, where the accounts of men and women who signed up to have affairs, we have learned something about Josh: he was having an affair. Gawker highlights:
"Someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar, with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas owned by his grandmother Mary—a home that was consistently shown on their now-cancelled TV show, and in which Anna Duggar gave birth to her first child—paid a total of $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February of 2013 until May of 2015."
The report then goes on to say that he started a second account based out of his home in Maryland. For this second account, he also purchased a $250 guarantee that assured him he will find a "perfect affair match."
Josh’s list of descriptions for what he was looking for in an affair, which included (but was not limited to): conventional sex, sensual massage, “someone I can teach,” sex talk, “sharing fantasies,” etc.
For his part, Josh has released a rather lengthy statement to People:
“I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.
I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him. I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.
The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings. As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose to our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.
I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.”
It seems like there is a lot that was hidden by this family, and even though TLC lost money on it, they pulled out just in the nick of time.
