  • Ice cube & son O’Shea Jackson Jr. have no plans to do LA riots movie!

The rapper and his son O’Shea Jackson Jr. denied reports of staring in the movie about the 1992 LA riots.

Earlier The Hollywood Reporter cited Ice Cube and his son O’Shea Jackson Jr. will star in the LA riots movie. The LA riots took place on the 29th of April 1992. The representative for ice Cube has promptly denied the news.

The rapper/actors camp released a statement informing the father and son is not attached to the project. According to the statement the father son duo have no plans to commit to the project. Variety posted the statement first.

They are both busy at the moment and any news or speculation on the matter is false. Another source close to Ice Cube himself declared there is absolutely no truth to the news.

Ice Cube and O’Shea Jackson Jr. involvement in the LA riot film is not completely a moot point. It is possible the duo may be talked to star in the film.

But right now the duo is confirmed not to be attached to the project. The possibility is always there but many factors need to be discussed before a final decision.

Ice Cube and son O’Shea Jackson Jr. recently starred in the hit film ‘Straight Outta Compton’. The film is a biopic on the rap music group N.W.A. The film recently earned more than 100 million at the box office.

The film has also been lauded by critics for its depiction of the 80’s rap scene. The film is also a biopic of Ice Cube since he was a member of the original N.W.A. Ice Cube will next be starring in the film ‘Ride Along’. Ice Cube will star alongside Kevin Hart in the comedy film to be released in January.
