This will be the company’s first store in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East. The shop was recently anticipated that it would open towards the end of September.
However, the store now won't open until October or later. The sources revealed this news to a local English-language publication; The National.
A rumor in May recommended an August opening. The outlet is still expected to be situated in the Mall of the Emirates.
The publication also revealed that Apple is not only working on another store in Abu Dhabi but also in a second Dubai location.
The latter location is expected to be the Dubai Mall. A report said on Wednesday that UAE bowed to pressure and made an exception in its foreign possession laws.
It permits Apple to set up retail stores but under its own particular terms. Without the exception, Apple would have needed to guarantee that nearly 51 percent of its local office was possessed by Emiratis.
There is unlikely that there would be any impact on resellers or changes to their current prices of Apple devices.
The prices are always set by the manufacturer. This means that this launching can also go to the negative direction for Apple.
Mueez Rahman, the business development manager for Albatha Group said that, “Apple is in a titanic global struggle with Samsung and the Android operating system; it wants all its products in as many outlets as possible.Tourists may want to visit the Apple store, but most people in the UAE will be buying from their local shops.”
Apple's financial success in the recent years has allowed them to build stores in many countries. Turkey is one of the recent examples.
