Funniest Joke of The Edinburgh Fringe is about a Mobile Phone

The Edinburgh Fringe is the world's largest arts festival known for its comedy performances. since eight years the 10 funniest jokes get voted on. The best joke is a mobile phone joke.

TV channel Dave has revealed the 8th annual top 10 funniest jokes from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The jokes have been voted on by 2,000 people without knowing who made them.

The winning joke this year is from comedian Darren Walsh, who performed his first full length show at the Fringe. The joke will delight geeks, as it is about mobile phones. I am not sure if it works for Americans though. The joke goes like this: "I just deleted all the German names off my phone. It's Hans free."

This joke fits great to a viral video that is popular on Youtube. A guy makes a series of hilarious puns on Ikea names to his girlfriends annoyance. The number of fun word play is mind bowing.

The runner up joke at Fringe will be more appealing to Americans. It has though the typical UK comedian rudeness. Steward Francis offered up this joke: "Kim Kardashian is saddled with a huge arse... but enough about Kanye West."

Another highlight is this joke from Masai Graham featuring fine word play: "What's the difference between a 'hippo' and a 'Zippo'? One is really heavy, the other is a little lighter."

Mark Nelson put out this zinger on the Fringe: "Jesus fed 5,000 people with two fishes and a loaf of bread. That's not a miracle. That's tapas."

For the first time a 12 year old kid made the top 10 Fringe joke list and the joke is great.  "They're always telling me to live my dreams. But I don't want to be naked in an exam I haven't revised for..." by Grace The Kid.
