The most eye catching of the list is the i20 Active. The new model is a more rugged version of the super mini hatchback. The i20 previously replaced the Getz in 2008. The second generation of the i20 is offered in three and five door guises. The i20 will also be further expanded with the introduction of this pseudo-crossover soft-roader.
The new i20 offers the better part of an inch more ground clearance. The reason is a revised suspension. The i20 also has skid plates under the front and back.
Other features include beefed-up wheel arches, and a higher seating position. All of the features ensure the passengers will have a better time while on the beaten path. The ride will also be extremely comfortable on a smooth pavement.
In Europe two types of tunes in the engines will be offered for selection. A 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine will have two types of tunes. The efficient tune offers a 99 horsepower, while the enhanced one offers 118 horsepower.
The new i20 Active will feature at the Hyundai stand in the Frankfurt Motor Show along with other exhibits, according to Auto Blog.
