Candice Cameron Bure attended a dinner party with her co-hosts on The View but was nowhere to be found on the show’s premiere.
Candice Cameron Bure was confirmed as a co-host after her appearance of the show in July. Back then she had an argument with the show’s host Raven Symone.

The argument was on a baker that had refused to make the wedding cake for a lesbian couple. The star however signed on for a more post alongside Paula Faris and the returning host Joy Behar.
Before they could sit on the show together, they thought it might be better to get together for dinner, reported Fox News.
Raven-Symoné and Michelle Collins enjoyed their new colleagues, Cameron Bure and Faris. The dinner took place in the back room of an L.A. restaurant. Bure says that it was a great time to know each other. Faris even shook Bure up a little.
Bure reports suggest that Faris asked her a question that put her on the spot. And she was amazed that Faris had just asked her that. Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar were not in attendance then but hope to host a casual dinner of their own. Things seemed to be going well among the panel.
Still people were a little surprised as many turned on their TV sets and noticed that there was no Bure. The show kicked off its 19th season on Tuesday and where Behar was in attendance, Bure was not. Goldberg welcomed Joy back after her two years hiatus from the show. She had left after a 16 years long stint as a co-host.
The co-hosts also told the fans what they had been up to on their time out of the show. It made the absence of Bure more prominent. Especially after a discussion ensued on pretty much the same topic as Bure had gotten into with Symone. This time they discussed a Kentucky clerk Kim Davis, who was jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
The content of the topic might have been the reason Bure had been kept off. After her argument in July, the directors might have felt that the similar topic would result in another heated argument. Fans were quick to notice. And they express their suspicions and disappointment over Bure not appearing in the show’s season premiere.
So I turn on The View to see Candace Cameron, and she's not there???? Did I miss something?— valerie evans (@vevans) September 8, 2015
