The statistics were revealed by the IHS new vehicle registrations until June 2015. It seems growing businesses are opting for Ford vans rather than other manufacturers.
Ford had already been at the top of its game for the last 36 years. The new statistics have revealed a new victory for the manufacturers in the year 2015. The Ford vans are used by businesses for transporting equipment, shuttle passengers and much more.
The vans are so versatile they can be used as emergency response vehicles or food trucks. The vans by Ford can even be turned into mobile studios such as for dog grooming.
There are 58 vehicle configurations Ford offers in its vans. The upcoming 2016 model of the Ford van will offer even more configurations. The most prominent of the new features is the dual sliding door option.
Yaro Hetman is the Ford brand manager for Transit, Transit Connect and E-Series. According to Hetman the vans by Ford are incredibly flexible. The flexibility enables the customers to right-size their vehicle to the needs of their vocation.

“There are 12 ship-through upfitters located within 30 miles of Kansas City Assembly Plant, making it easy and fast for customers to design their Transit vans to serve their business requirements.”

The Ford vans are assembled at the Kansas City Assembly Plant. About 12 ship-through up-fitters are located within 30 miles of the plant. The location makes it easier for customers to design their Transit vans. The sale of Ford vans has especially increased by 28 percent in 2015.
