Alcohol led to the most binge eating. The least overeating behavior was noticeable in case of those who consumed tea. It appears to be the case that those who drank diet beverages later on thought to themselves that they had a right to eat as much as they liked.

But this could work both ways. It might be that those who ate a lot of junk food managed to convince themselves that they ought to consume diet drinks.
