The Volkswagen Tiguan was set to debut at the 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show. The car would have been displayed at the show next week. The first images were posted by the German website Auto Motor Und Sport.
The new Volkswagen Tiguan will be manufactured in three variants. The first variant will be a standard-wheelbase with five seats. The first variant will be available in the market late in 2015. The second variant is a long-wheelbase with seven seats, which will be released in 2016.
The third variant is a five-seat coupé model. The coupe will be available in the market by 2017. The three different variants will give the Tiguan a broader appeal than that of the first-generation model. The first Tiguan was released back in 2007.
The images, originally published by German website Auto Motor Und Sport (via Auto Car), show the new Tiguan’s design has been inspired from the Cross Coupé GTE concept. The concept was revealed at the Detroit motor show earlier in 2015.
