iOS 9 has shown a remarkable adoption rate
Only a week has passed since iOS 9's much expected release. Apple today happily announced that its latest operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch that was released on September 16th is now a part of more than 50% of iOS devices.

Another important thing is that within just two days, iOS 9 has obtained 20 percent for downloads on all iOS devices. It has been just five days and now the newest version is already installed on half of iOS devices.
Apple also announced that it is the fastest adoption rate any iOS’s new version has ever witnessed. Apple senior VP of worldwide marketing Phil Schiller also noted that iOS 9 is just on its way to becoming the most downloaded software release in Apple's history.
iOS 9 is initially compatible with the iPhone 4S and newer members, iPad 2 and newer members, all iPad mini models, and fifth and sixth-generation iPod touch models.
The upcoming iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus will also be powered by iOS 9.

These devices will be available in 12 countries that include Australia, France, Canada, Hong Kong, China, Germany, Japan, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK and the US on Friday, September 25.
