Such was the case when Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson) mother Mama June Shannon was involved in a romantic relationship with a convicted child molester. The network pulled out the show for airing which cost the family.
Now the 10 year old Honey Boo Boo is trying to make a comeback. She hit the spot by releasing a music video. She has collaborated with video genius Adam Barta to make her music video snappy and catchy.
The song is called ‘Movin’ Up’ and it features Honey Boo Boo, Mama June Shannon, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, and her sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 16. The whole family is engaged in breaking out some weird and dope dance moves throughout the video.
The lyrics give the listener a potted history of Honey Boo Boo's rise to fame. "Started out as a pageant queen / then on TV doing my thing / now movin' up in the world / new fun times with my girls, I’m the princess of this castle / Mama June queen of the house / Went from something to nothing / I holler and scream and shout," she raps, while dancing in her own individual style. Barta assisted the young singer with his rap.
The video has not gone viral really but the track has been made available on iTunes. It is a must watch for all the fans who have witnessed the rise of fame of Honey Boo Boo and have been missing her honey sweet looks for quite a time now. Plus the song is very real and the tune is really catchy so why don’t you listen and do the Honey Bop.
