Apple iMac deals are expected to be the best in Black Friday history.

Black Friday 2015 deals on Apple iMacs could be the best ever this year. The best deal on an iMac last year was $200 off on the 21-inch iMac bringing the price down to $899.99. This year the savings on the entry-level iMacs could be even higher. Apple is rumored to introduce the 21.5-inch iMac with 4K Display next week.

Apple will keep the current iMac line in the program as they did when the company introduced the 27-inch iMac with 5K Display. it is not clear yet if Apple will upgrade the CPUs across all iMacs as well. Either way, the introduction of the new 4K iMac will put the price of the standard 21.5-inch iMac under pressure. The price difference between the 27-inch iMac and 27-inch iMac 5K is $200.

It is likely that Apple is dropping the price of the 21.5-inch iMac to under $1,000. If retailers are at least matching last year's Black Friday discount then an iMac can be had for less than $800 on Black Friday. In case Best Buy will best its $200 offer from last year, the savings could even be bigger.

While this is an exciting prospect to see the entry-level iMac sell for $799.99, there might be bigger savings on higher configurations. Last year such deals have been sparse. This could change this year as consumers plan to spend more this holiday shopping season according to a new study by CEA.

The best deals on iMacs right now are $100 off an $1,299 21.5-inch iMac and $150 off a $2,299.99 27-inch iMac 5K. These deals can be found on Best Buy.

The current entry-level iMac runs on a 1.4GHz Core i5 CPU with 2.7Ghz Turbo Boost, 8GB RAM and 500GB HDD. This is enough performance for standard office work and internet use making it an ideal choice for students.

Black Friday 2015 is going to be in general a great opportunity to save on most Apple products including the Apple Watch. We have outlined the reasons for this in an earlier report. As soon as the first Black Friday deals on Apple products will surface, we will analyze them and provide a shopping guide like in past years.

The Apple Store Black Friday 2015 sale is likely to offer better deals than last year. Last year Apple made its Black Friday sale more or less a charity event, raising money for the Global Fund to fight AIDS. Apple Store Black Friday deals are still expected to be not as good as Apple retailers including Best Buy, Walmart, Target and MacMall.
