Just like every other social network out there, Facebook is continually trying to update their merchandise and reach out to people who may not be using their account as much.

Along with an update to the 3D Touch feature on the iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus, there are some other additions that people are quite divided over.

Facebook updated the app today, and as usual, didn't actually tell users what they were looking to receive from the large update. Basically, the new update changed the way you can post on 6s and 6s Plus, and it changed a few other things as well.

Some users who updated are seeing a brand-new Shopping feed inside the Facebook app that has a lot of ads for different products. All you have to do is tap on the picture and it will enlarge, showing you product details. There will also be links to buy the item from retailers. Some businesses, though not too many yet, actually have a Buy Button that you can use to make the purchase right on Facebook. Many people have accounts linked to their Facebook on their PCs and the App Store and the connected credit cards will most likely work when buying merchandise.

As very few people actually have the ability to look at the shopping feature, there haven't been very many reports about the companies that are using the Buy Buttons or even reaching out to Facebook at all. According to MacWorld, it will probably be some time before many people have access.

Not everyone has this yet, but it is slowly rolling out. There is no word as to whether or not this feature will be available for Apple Watches.
