She is however doing the exact opposite of taking a rest. Feeling like she is in her prime, the young actress aspires to work on something different from her bow-wielding Katniss Everdeen role and the blue skinned Mystique.
Darren Aronofsky's new Indie movie might be the perfect break that Jennifer is looking for. Darren announced his new Indie movie as his latest project. He is looking for stars to star in the movie which will hopefully begin filming during the spring.
The director is keeping the details of the project a secret. Jennifer, however, seems keenly interested. There are reports that she might even drop Richard Linklater’s latest movie that she was probable to star in, The Rosie Project.
There are arguments that she might have left the movie following her essay on gender inequality. This however is not admittedly a reason for her to not do the Linklater movie.
Jennifer might be just after the goal of breaking her usual genre she has been engaged in and turn a new leaf. With her new sci-fi romance Passengers coming up and her movie Joy (which is already a proposed candidate for Oscar season), she is looking for something to break her convention.
According to Variety, she might dedicate her whole time to the Aronofsky project. There is however a catch. The director is known to drop projects at a moment’s notice. Jennifer might waste precious time that she could be putting in films that are actually being developed for her.
They have been kept on hold for the reason that Jennifer was busy with shooting for her franchise projects. Now, with the movies off her hands and time on her schedule, she has to choose her projects wisely.
Her most recent movies to hit the theaters will be The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2’ and Fox’s ‘Joy’.
