The award winning actor enacted childish ‘Bridge of Spies’ scenes with Jimmy Fallon for his first appearance on the Tonight Show.
Tom Hanks made his first ever appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The star was promoting his upcoming film ‘Bridge of Spies’ by Steven Spielberg.

The film Bridge of Spies will open in cinemas on the 16th of October. The show started with Hanks and Fallon joking how they used to yell gibberish at each other whenever they saw each other.
On the show the award winning actor played the game Kids Theater with Fallon. The theme of plays in the Kids Theater was ‘Bridge of Spies’.
Fallon first explained the rules of the game saying they have to enact scene from the title ‘Bridge of Spies’. Fallon shared the skits are written by elementary school kids. The kids had no direction and were only given the title to write the skit.
While both Hanks and Fallon sported berets they enacted the small skits. After playing the script Hanks called the script a good piece of writing.
Then Hanks stuffed it into his pocket. From one of the scenes Hanks stated he can see the bad guys coming towards them. When Fallon expressed his desire to also be able to see the bad guys, Hanks berated him for forgetting his binoculars.
The award winning actor also discussed one of his most successful roles. According to Hanks children don’t easily believe he is Woody from Toy Story. Hanks shared he has to make them cover their eyes and then speak so they believe him.

Hanks also shared the reason why he was wearing a beret. Hanks actually sports the head wear to keep his head warm in the New York City weather.
