BlackBerry might have a winner on its hands with the BlackBerry Priv. It is for starters an Android phone. It also features a legendary BlackBerry hardware keyboard that slides out with BlackBerry's SmartSlide technology. The Priv is still reasonably thin with 9.4mm. An iPhone 6S measures 6.9mm. The hardware keyboard only adds 2.5mm.
Other features of the Priv include 5.4-inch curved display, similar to the Samsung S7 Edge screen, 1.8Ghz dual core + 1.44Ghz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 CPU, 3,410mhA battery, 18MP camera, dual LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
BlackBerry Priv comes with the exclusive DTEK by BlackBerry warning system app to provide you with the power of privacy. BlackBerry is marketing the Priv as a secure smartphone.
The BlackBerry Priv sells unlocked for £579.99 on CarPhoneWarehouse. The Priv ships November 6 in the UK.
