NASA has reassured the world regarding a near miss asteroid approaching the earth this Halloween.
A huge asteroid which will give earthlings a close call this Halloween, happens to be a rare instance of hit-or-miss in 9 years. Termed 2015 TB145, it is approximately 499,000 km away. It will be whizzing past the earth at a speed of 78,000 mph.

This is the closest brush with possible destruction that will occur since the year 2006. As for the future, the earth is secure till the year 2027 for now znd that is good news.
NASA often scans the skies for any possible space debris that might by chance enter the earth’s atmosphere, but this asteroid was discovered veering closer and closer to earth about two weeks ago. It is highly eccentric and has large inclination orbit.
Although no dimensions have been officially recognized yet, its measurements might lie somewhere in the region of 280m x 620m. The asteroid cannot be seen unaided but with a telescope it can be spotted. An object of such a huge size has not been seen for quite some time.
It indeed holds dire consequences for earthlings if it eschews from its prescribed path. Since it is well within the 4,600,000 mile area surrounding the earth, it has the potential for harming us by a narrow margin.
Yet NASA has said that it cannot effect, much less touch the earth and its inhabitants. The experts at NASA are giving us reassurances that no hazard to life on earth will occur via this asteroid. If anything, it is benign and will have no effect whatsoever on men and women going about their business on the planet.
This asteroid is a part of the constellation that is Orion. The passing of the asteroid close to the earth on Halloween will be an ideal opportunity for astronomers to test various scientific facts via the use of different instruments and devices.
Comets and asteroids have always been the stuff of which nightmarish fantasies are made of. The movie Armageddon portrayed such an asteroid that was immobilized from harming earthlings by a team of NASA astronauts that went into space and blasted it away after landing on it.
