The Fast & Furious actor will only portray Black Bolt in the Marvel Universe if there is a dope script and a great director.

Rumors regarding the possible ‘Inhumans’, a film by Marvel, have always been rampant. Some claim the film has been cancelled while some reports suggest a delay. Only one person known to be affiliated with the project has something to say. Vin Diesel has long been suspected to be cast as Black Bolt if ‘Inhumans’ is ever made.

Vin Diesel spoke with MTV while promoting his latest film, The Last Hunter. According to Vin Diesel he is not too stressed out about landing the role of Black Bolt. The matter is not about Diesel wooing Marvel but the studio has to woo the actor for the role.

Diesel shared that he loves Marvel Studios, but it does not mean he will blindly sign on for a film unless a dope script and great director are attached. Diesel then discussed his role as Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy.

According to SR, Vin Diesel stated he was dazzled by the role of Groot when suggested by Paul Feige. Diesel thought Groot was a genius role and he will not sign on roles for just anything. Diesel will only take on roles he feels passionate about and those he can contribute to.

Vin Diesel previously met with the executives at Marvel Studios many times. If signed on, Diesel will portray Black Bolt who is a silent Inhuman. Black Bolt has a hypersonic scream which can create shockwaves dangerous enough to destroy cities. Although the move by Diesel may give the Inhuman project a push, the film could be pushed to the Phase 4 of Marvel Universe.
