  • The Tidal X: 1020 benefit concert was a star studded affair.

According to Tidal, the tickets of the benefit concert in Brooklyn had sold out within minutes after going online.

On the 20th of October the Tidal X: 1020 concert was held in Brooklyn. The concert had performances from some of the biggest names in the music industry. Previously, the tickets for the concert sold out within minutes of being available. Stars such as Beyoncé, Jay Z, Nick Jonas and Nicki Minaj took the stage for performances on Tuesday. 

The chart topping artists all gathered together for a good cause. The Tidal X: 1020 was being hosted as an HTC benefit concert. The event took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The concert was the first event in a series of upcoming events by Tidal for charity purposes.

Other artists included Usher, Lil Wayne, T.I., Damian Marley, Indochine, Thomas Rhett and Fabolous, according to The Wrap. French Montana, Pusha T, Vic Mensa, Meek Mill and Rick Ross were also among those who took the stage to perform. Additionally, Travi$ Scott, DJ Cipha Sounds and DJ Reflex also graced the stage to give the audience a truly memorable show. 

Newcomers who graced the sage included Alessia Cara, Bas, Benjamin Booker and Flatbush Zombies. HIT-BOY and Justine Sky were also part of the Tidal Rising acts. Proceeds from the concert are slated to go to the Tidal X FUND at the New World Foundation.

The concert was live streamed online through the Tidal service, as well. Tidal streaming also promised to match the proceeds from the ticket sales by a 100%. The funds collected in the Tidal concert are for positive social impact worldwide.
