New York Times Magazine has been putting our brains to work. Lately, ‘What color is this dress?’ trend caught haughty speed on social media. It wasn’t long before all social media forums were blazing with the pictures of the dress that everyone was guessing the color of. Even if there were two answers, it never seemed to satisfy our own subconscious.

New York Times Magazine has put up another question this time. It is not a puzzler, it is a combination of testing the political, historical and aggressive nature of the readers.
The question that NYT is asking its readers currently is that whether they would kill baby Hitler. Of course the Holocaust and World War II are accredited to Hitler, so one may expect that people would say yes. However killing a baby was a step too far for many.
It may have been a question to arouse our conscience. Many people, with strong political opinion perhaps were willing to do the deed. Some even symbolized the ‘good leaders’ like Churchill as a baby that could have killed baby Hitler.

Many opted their answers with an accompanying condition. Killing Baby Hitler as a result of something that they hated. One said that she would be willing to kill baby Hitler if he was crying throughout a long flight. No one however seemed willing to kill a baby even if it was Baby Hitler. The trend became the top trending hashtag.

Few people found it disturbing. They were concerned about what had happened to humanity to be asking such a question. They commented whether the humanity had been lost in people or if they all were okay.
The funny side of the story was the speculation of if baby Hitler was raised by some personalities nowadays that represent moderation and open-mindedness. It was a speculative question and the stats indicate that 42 percent people answered that they would kill baby Hitler. 30 percent said that they would not and 28 percent answered that they were not sure.
