The Interview published by Tag Heuer's parent company LVMH is titled "A peak at the TAG Heuer smartwatch with Jean-Claude Biver." In the interview he reiterated that Tag Heuer found the best partners for the smartwatch with Google and Intel and that Tag Heuer has a history of innovation.
To the question whether the first Tag Heuer smartwatch is aimed at bringing new customers to the brand or strengthen ties with current TAG Heuer fans, Biver said: "We’re continually seeking to bring new customers to the brand thanks to a broader offering. The smartwatch is clearly part of this conquest strategy. But it’s also obvious that a portion of the current TAG Heuer clientele is attracted by this new product and this new technology as well. So tune in on November 9 to discover this exciting innovation, the first TAG Heuer smartwatch!"
Tag Heuer announced to reveal the first Tag Heuer Connected Smartwatch, likely called Tag Heuer Carrera Wearable 01 on November 9. So far Tag Heuer only released a teaser image of the Tag Heuer Android Wear watch depicted above. No other details are known yet.
