Netflix's The Ridiculous 6 Trailer Raises Hopes for best Adam Sandler Movie
  • Adam Sandler assembles a huge cast for his Netflix comedy Ridiculous 6

Adam Sandler’s latest Netflix comedy features a long and impressive cast in a story based on the Wild West.

Adam Sandler was signed on by Netflix during last year’s contracts for generating comedy movies for the network. His production Happy Madison has been facilitating the network with some genuinely Sandler comedy flicks.

The comedies are speculated to not generate so much at the theatres seeing that his last movie ‘Pixels’ failed to go on a high but the home audiences love Sandler movies. The network made a deal worth millions.

It definitely has to be Sandler’s charm that attracts some of the brightest comedic stars to work with him again and again. His latest movie ‘Ridiculous 6’ is about the Wild West, starring Adam as the protagonist and a thief by the name of White Knife.

He has been raised by the Indians and turns to the local town nearby to rob the bank. The story follows the assembly and joint gang efforts of White Knife and 5 other men who later turn out to be brothers. The brothers are called the Ridiculous 6 by law enforcement. The movie is dubbed ridiculous. It has cowboys, indians, supposedly ninjas, crazy hoodlums and sheriffs.

So how do you fill up all those spots? With extras? No. If you are Adam Sandler, you will hire some real time actors to play all the parts. Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Luke Wilson and Terry Crews along with a sixth, unannounced star.

Further filling out the cast is Nick Nolte (playing Sandler's father,) Jon Lovitz and Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Danny Trejo, and Steve Buscemi. All are playing some sort of Western stereotype.

Lovitz and Cummings are an industrialist and his wife, Forte and Trejo are leaders of an outlaw gang, and Buscemi is "a jack of all trades." Playing the role of Earp Wyatt will be none other than the country singer, Blake Shelton.

Ridiculous 6 will be heading into production soon and will probably be heading to Netflix sometime next year. Warner Bros., Sony and Paramount must be kicking themselves for passing on it.
