This weekend the Holiday 2015 sales events including early Black Friday sales will begin.
Yesterday Walmart announced the retailer's ambitious Holiday 2015 Shopping plans. Like Walmart, the Target Holiday 2015 sales season will begin this Sunday, November 1.
Target is not only offering deals, but the complete holiday spirit. Target will introduce The Holiday Odyssey, a season-long tale that starts with a digital storybook, narrated by no other than popular actor Neil Patrick Harris. Available for free at Target Holiday Odyssey will begin on Nov. 4. The story is about three kids and the Target mascot, Bullseye, embarking on a holiday quest. A cast of characters from LEGO, Minions, Ninja Turtles, and more, join in on the holiday journey. The digital Holiday story will be released here.
On Dec. 7, Target is bringing the Target Wonderland, a 16,000 square foot retail spectacle to New York’s Meatpacking District. Free and open to the public beginning Dec. 9, Target Wonderland will be a playful and kinetic environment meant to captivate adults and kids alike by bringing elements of The Holiday Odyssey to life, such as the “S.S. Free Shipping” LEGO ship.
“Target is starting the season with momentum in our business, anchored by increased store traffic and strength in our signature categories of baby, kids, style and wellness. The work we’ve done throughout the past year puts us in a position to deliver the convenient services and differentiated product our guests count on from Target, especially during the holidays,” said Brian Cornell, Chairman of the Board and CEO, Target. “I’m confident that guests will find an easy, inspiring, and most importantly, seamless experience at Target no matter how they choose to shop.”
The Target Holiday 2015 deals start to be available on Sunday. The Target Cartwheel app will offer 50 percent off a different toy every day from Nov. 1 through Dec. 24. This is in addition to the more than 1,000 new deals with more than 350 deals at 25% off or more.
Target's REDcard holders are as always saving an additional 5% on purchases and get free shipping on Target.com. Starting Nov. 1, Target is also offering free shipping to customers that are not REDcard members.
