Early Amazon Black Friday 2015 Sale begins November 1?

Amazon has not announced yet the Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week 2015. Will there be a delay?

Update Nov. 1: Amazon has quietly kicked off the Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week 2015 Sale in the early morning hours of Sunday. Why the retailer did not announce the early Black Friday sales event is unclear.

The early Amazon Black Friday 2015 Sale is expected to launch on Sunday, November 1. Amazon is like last year supposed to join retailers including Walmart and Target to offer early Black Friday deals.

We know that there will be a 2015 Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week sale, because there are new banners the retailer has prepared. See above. Last year Amazon issued a press-release on October 30 to announce the details of the early Black Friday sale. Yesterday Amazon issued a press-release, but it was about the announcement of the Prime Now midnight delivery of Black Ops 3.

This is a cool service for gamers, but Black Friday fans are waiting for the early Amazon Black Friday 2015 deals. So for now we only have new banners, but no details on the launch and deals of the 2015 Amazon Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week.

It would be unusual to make the announcement on Saturday, but it is possible. We are monitoring the situation and update Black Friday shoppers with news about the Amazon Black Friday sale as soon as they become available. Walmart, Target, Best Buy and NewEgg have confirmed to launch early Holiday and Black Friday sales on Sunday November 1. Chances are high that Amazon will join the party.

As in the past years the sale is called Countdown to the Black Friday Deals Week. Amazon is not just hosting a single or two day Black Friday sales event. The whole Thanksgiving Day week is one big Black Friday event.

Last year Amazon offered more than 15,000 Lightning Deals. The retailer also, for the first time, let Prime members get a 30 minute head start on select lightning deals. Being a Prime member has turned out to be crucial for scoring Black Friday deals on Amazon.

The early Black Friday deals offered on Amazon.com last year included savings of 40% or more on select Star Wars toys, Mickey and Minnie, Crayola and Disney Princess toys. Other highlights of the Amazon Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week have been $150 off a Canon EOS Rebel T5i DSLR, 50% off SodaStream Fountain Jet Home Starter Kit and $25 off Makita Tools.

Amazon also promoted a limited time a Free App of the Day Bundle that saved $115 in top apps and games on the Amazon Appstore.

With Prime Day already having set a new order recording, beating Black Friday, Amazon is set for another record Black Friday shopping season. Amazon just had a surprising profitable Q3 and are set to go ful steam into Q4. We expect more dramatic deals in the Amazon Black Friday 2015 sale than seen before.

Last year's Amazon Black Friday deal highlights included a $79 32-inch LED TV and a $119 40-inch LED TV as well as a $199 50-inch Toshiba LED HDTV.
