‘Creed’ was recently released over the Thanksgiving weekend. The film ended up being a surprise hit at the box office. The critic’s favourite had already been generating Oscar fever. Now it seems to have done well with audience.

Creed is the latest instalment in the Rocky Balboa saga. Therefore a sequel to Creed seems like a good idea. Even the star Michael B. Jordan recently agreed he would be pleased to do a sequel.
Michael B. Jordan recently gave an interview to the Associated Press posted Saturday. In the interview Jordan shared he is down for a Creed sequel. Jordan was pleased to returning to play Apollo Creed’s son, Adonis.
According to Jordan Adonis is a rich character and so is the world he is in. Jordan also wants to see what happens next with Adonis especially with the ending Creed had.
Jordan believes it would be exciting to come back and co-star with Sylvester Stallone. Other cast members Jordan is keen on seeing again is Tessa Thompson. Jordan also called the idea of a sequel pretty cool.
Creed had box office revenue of $42.6 million. The earning made Creed a solid profit after opening on Wednesday ahead of the Thanksgiving. Creed had a small budget of only $35 million. The film was made under the banner of Warner Bros.
With the success of the first film the sports sequel should have no trouble in gaining success. The film starred Sylvester Stallone returning as Rocky Balboa. This time Balboa serves as a mentor to Michael B. Jordan’s character. Jordan is the son of Balboa’s former nemesis Apollo Creed.
