UK department store John Lewis will release again its annual Christmas Ad. These ads mark for many the beginning of the Christmas season as they set the mood with a Christmas story told in an elaborate way. In 2013 the retailer spent $11 million for the 2 minute long animated tale of the Bear and the Hare.
Last year the John Lewis Christmas Ad broke the viewing record. To date it has close to 24 million views on Youtube and stars Monty the Penguin. Watch below.

On the weekend a 10 second teaser ran on TV channel ITV during the X-Factor show that showed an image of the moon and the hashtag #OnTheMoon. Many believe that this teaser is from John Lewis, but there is no official confirmation. No brand has claimed the mysterious hashtag on Twitter. So basically nothing is known yet about the John Lewis Christmas 2015 ad.
