The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is on sale today and will ship Friday.
As announced, the iPad Pro is now on sale on the Apple Store. Apple will ship the iPad Pro Friday, with fastest shipping option. In parallel with the sales begin of the iPad Pro, the pundits including Walt Mossberg released iPad Pro reviews.
For Mossberg Apple failed to make the iPad Pro a true laptop replacement. He says in the review on The Verge: "You can get a lot more done with iPad apps than with the paltry selection of tablet / touch-first apps available for the Surface. But, because Apple hasn’t made a great keyboard, the iPad Pro isn’t a complete replacement for a great laptop like the MacBook Air — even for a tablet guy like me. The iPad Pro will no doubt make a lot of Apple users happy, especially if they use it for graphics. But I won’t be buying one, and I don’t recommend that average users do so either."
Arstechnica has done one of their in-depth reviews on the iPad Pro. The negatives that Andrew Cunningham found with the iPad Pro include long charging time, limited multitasking, high price, and that it does not have 3D Touch like the iPhone 6S.
Th iPad Pro starts at $799 (US) for the 32GB with Wi-Fi model and $1079 (US) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular 128GB model and comes in three metallic finishes including silver, gold and space gray.
