She scoffed that her dad was Jennifer, he could call her Jen. He then told her that he had been hearing about these infomercials about dancing on QVC at night around 3 a.m. He said that people had been telling him that the performers on the show resemble him and Jennifer a lot. Jennifer seemed to know about it and responded with the show’s name, “Come Dance with Us”
Jimmy said that he had seen the show but didn’t really notice the resemblance. He said that he had TiVoed it and they should let the audience decide if the resemblance rumors were true. the clip then flashed into a really modern looking start with images of music and dancing and then revealed two instructors.
Dressed in completely bizarre costumes were Jimmy and Jennifer. Jennifer wore rainbow colored, faux fur arms, a plastic top and skirt with comics over them and a black outfit underneath with big glasses and a black wig under which her blonde bob was visible.
Jimmy was also dressed in a plastic vest, red frames and a side shaved wig. They both introduced their show saying that didn’t they seem like the people you would want to dance with. Both Fallon and Lawrence were talking in heavy accents and introduced themselves as Des and Dash.
Jimmy showed the clips in three installments. In the first clip they introduced the moves, "Check the Door," "Bury the Nut" and "Peekaboo-a-Choo." Once the clip finished the camera returned to Jen and Jimmy, who seemed out of breath for apparent reasons, he said that he didn't really see the resemblance.
He said that he had tried to come dance with them, but their dances, he’d never heard of them before, No. 1. I'm out of breath and coughing just watching them." He then showed "Vol. 2 of 'Come Dance With Us!'" in which they introduced combos.
"Lunch Box Salute," "Bowling Confetti and "Disco Binoculars"—before demonstrating how to "Check the Door" once again. Back at his desk, Fallon admitted that those dances weren't normal. No one would do those dances. Lawrence first had a laugh at Jimmy’s messy hair and tried to fix it and then said that Lawrence agreed, telling him that they really seem very focused on checking the door.
In the final video, Des and Dash did a lightning round where they showed viewers how to "Row the Boat, Check the Pulse," "Slurp the Soup," "Kick Waterfall," "That Doesn't Sound Anything Like Him," "Brow Brow Chicken Cow," "Windshield Wiper" and, of course, "Check the Door."
Back at the desk, they were exhausted, out of breath and in costume. They finally agreed that they saw the resemblance.
